Cytopathology is the study of free cells or tissue fragments to determine the cause or the nature of disease, whereas Histopathology involves examining an entire section of tissue, which contains many types of cells. The procedure involves microscopic examination of a biopsy or surgical specimen that is processed and fixed onto glass slides.

Our histopathology department provides a full range of anatomic pathology services along with a wide range of immunohistochemical (IHC) staining. Special areas of expertise include dermatopathology, gastrointestinal, breast, endocrine, renal, and neuropathology including muscle and nerve.
Our Facility:
  • Automated tissue processor used to derive tissue cassettes.
  • Wide range of Immunohistochemistry (IHC) markers to detect cancers.
  • Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) at all possible levels of medical investigation.
  • Time required for report delivery may vary according to tests.
  • Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) used for extra precision in diagnostics
  • Exfoliative Cytology of various body fluids to find malignant Cells
  • Bone marrow aspiration panel
  • Report generation status is notified to you through SMS alerts.
  • Reporting doctors are available to clear your doubts.
  • Report Delivery: Report can be downloaded from website. Hard copy can be obtained from reception. Home delivery is also available.
