Dr Sourav Bhowmik is an alumni of NRS Medical College, Kolkata and completed his MD from North Bengal Medical College, Darjeeling.
He has multiple research publications in national as well as international journals.
He has also keen interest in quality management system of laboratory and is trained in QMS & internal auditor as per ISO-15189; 2022 standard.
He has participated as faculty in multiple national and international conferences and has also taken the responsibility of judging various academic activities in those programs.
He has also organised several conferences, CMEs and academic training programs as Organising Chairperson and Organising Secretary.
He is the honorary treasurer of Calcutta Association of Practicing Pathologists (CAPP).
He is also the honorary assistant secretary of Gut Chat Club, Kolkata.
He is the honorary member of the executive committee of West Bengal Cytology Society.
